Projects and Accomplishments
2006-2007
- "Survival Guide" for a teacher teaching a math course for the first time or who hasn't taught the course for a while. We thought this could be beneficial information for pre-service math teachers, first-year teachers, new hires to a system, and experienced teachers who are teaching a new (to them) course. What would you have liked to have had your first year? What is the most essential information necessary to getting started with a new course? What extra information could be helpful to a new teacher in the state?
- 'Meet-and-Greet'- meet the new head of the math section at DPI and to discuss with her changes in her department, changes in curriculum / testing, preferences for contacting the math section to get answers to questions, etc.
