TIP Scholar Weekend

Appalachian State University is proud to offer this opportunity for academically gifted young people to come and experience a challenging form of learning.

Program Information

• The Program is open to all 7th-12th graders who have participated in a TIP search or been identified as academically gifted by local school criteria.
• Students enroll in one class and explore material typically not included in school curricula.
• Students stay overnight where supervision is provided. Upon acceptance, additional information will be sent.
• $250 tuition covers housing, food, and course activities.
• Limited financial aid is available on a need basis
